Hello SouL Dance Family!

Wow, have things been busy?! We have been planning and dancing all spring and summer at SouL Dance, and we can't wait any longer to share some exciting upcoming events! Mark your calendars!

Let's get started with the announcement of SouL in Motion!

Soul in Motion: A Showcase Like No Other

Get ready to experience the magic of dance beyond the studio walls—Soul in Motion is coming to the Cook Theatre at the FSU Center for Performing Arts on Saturday, October 4th, 2025, at 6 PM.

Unlike our in-studio showcases, this performance will take place in a fully equipped professional theater, offering a fresh and inspiring atmosphere for both dancers and audience members. With only 135 seats to fill, we’re inviting the entire Soul community to help us bring the energy and support our dancers on a real stage.

Expect an exciting two-hour performance featuring over 30 solos, each one showcasing the hard work, artistry, and growth of our talented students. And to top it all off, we’ll close the night with a stunning professional show that you won’t want to miss.

Tickets range from $35 to $55 and will be available soon. Save the date, invite your friends and family, and join us for an unforgettable evening of rhythm, passion, and soul.

🔥 New Group Classes for July🔥

Come inside to beat the heat for these exciting group classes in July. Every Monday and Thursday at 2821 Cattleman Road in Sarasota, we're featuring the best of adult ballet, slow waltz, and American rumba on Mondays, plus all the Latin dancing you could ever want on Thursdays!

Monday Classes

Mondays in July are an eclectic mix of Adult Ballet, Slow Waltz, and American Rumba. Both the ballet and rumba classes are for beginners. You know you've always wanted to try ballet, so come out and learn the fundamentals with Sanda!

Thursday Latin Group Classes

Thursday has become our dedicated Latin night with intermediate Salsa and Bachata group classes and now Beginner Cha Cha as well. While the Salsa and Bachata classes require some experience to enjoy, our Cha Cha group is a perfect place to begin learning the rhythm of Latin dancing. Bring a friend or come alone, we'll rotate through the night learning fun patterns and upbeat music.

Sarasota Spotlight Showcase

Sunday, July 6th, marked yet another standout performance from our talented troupe of SouL Dance Studio students at the ArtOvation Hotel in downtown Sarasota. John Hartter, Gabor Fulop, and Scott Brookes gave fascinating performances with Sanda Lungu at the Sarasota Spotlight, an "evening of culture, creativity, and community connection."
