Love is in the air—and on the dance floor! February is here, and whether you're looking to sweep your sweetheart off their feet or simply fall deeper in love with dancing, SouL Dance Studio has something special waiting for you.

Before we dive into this month's schedule, we want to take a moment to say THANK YOU for an absolutely incredible 2025. From championship victories at Florida State Dancesport and Ultimate Dancesport Challenge to our unforgettable SouL in Motion showcase at Cook Theater, last year was one for the record books.

🌟 Florida Star Ball 2026 🌟

Mark your calendars! SouL Dance Studio will be heading to Florida Star Ball from February 19th–22nd at the beautiful Hilton St. Petersburg Carillon Park. This beloved competition, organized by John DePalma and Marianne Nicole, is one of the highlights of the Florida ballroom calendar.

Will we bring home more awards like Scott Brooks did last year when he captured the Top Student Award? Come out and cheer us on! Whether you're competing, spectating, or just soaking in the energy of world-class ballroom and Latin dancing, Florida Star Ball is an experience you won't forget.

⚠️ Studio Closure: First Week of February ⚠️

Heads up, SouL Dance Family! The studio will be closed from February 1st through February 8th. We are in New York this first week of February attending an American Rhythm Congress to expand our knowledge and perfect our skills. We'll be back refreshed and ready to dance and share our new knowledge starting Monday, February 9th!

Use this time to practice your steps at home, stretch, and get ready for an exciting month of dancing!

💃 February Group Classes 💃

Starting February 9th, join us every Monday evening at our Sarasota location for three fantastic beginner-friendly group classes. Whether you've always dreamed of trying ballet, want to master the flirty Cha Cha, or get your swing on with East Coast Swing, we've got you covered!

Monday Classes

Mondays in February are all about building your foundation! All three classes are Level 1 (Beginner), making them perfect for newcomers or anyone looking to refine their basics. No partner necessary—just bring your enthusiasm!

Looking for the perfect Valentine's Day gift? Forget the chocolates and flowers—give the gift of dance! A private lesson package makes for an unforgettable experience you can share together. 📅 Private Lessons Available

In addition to our Monday group classes, private lessons are available by appointment throughout the month (Monday through Saturday). Private instruction is the fastest way to improve your technique, prepare for competitions, or work on wedding choreography.
